Are you comfortable talking to a CFO about cash management strategies and also getting in the weeds to initiate wire transfers? This hands-on treasury position requires both. As a Treasury professional, you will need to understand the responsibilities that lie within the broad categories listed below:
· Corporate Cash Management
· Cash Forecasting
· Daily Cash Positioning
· Treasury Workstation
· Banking Relationship Internal Banking Support
· Treasury Policy Procedures
Qualifications:
Ø BS degree in accounting or finance
Ø 5-7 years of applicable experience
Ø Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) - not a must have but sure is nice if you do
Ø Hands on experience with online banking systems
Ø Hands on experience with cash management products and services
Ø Strong Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge of databases
Ø A plus if you have Treasury Workstation (TWS) experience
Soft Skills but equally as important:
Ø Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
Ø Able to effectively work individually AND as part of a team
Ø Self-starter; self-motivated; take ownership of work
Ø Demonstrated ability to prioritize; multitask and meet deadlines
Ø Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
