The Senior Treasury Analyst will assist in driving a world-class Investments and Capital Markets at Ecolab that supports the company’s growth, protects shareholder value and develops employees. This position will be assisting with benefits finance management and coordination, pension investment analysis and reporting, capital markets analysis, financial analysis projects, as well as working with key leaders.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist Director of Investments and Capital Markets in benefits finance activities, oversight, and reporting, including the U.S. pension and 401(k) plans and international pension plans
- Work with team members and pension advisors on key initiatives and coordination of the Benefits Finance Committee and the International Benefits Oversight Committee
- Evaluate investments and investment strategies
- Provide analytical support for recommendations on investment policy, asset allocation, and funding strategy
- Assist in managing relationships with pension advisors and investment managers
- Assist with managing investment reporting and disclosures
- Work closely with other functions and departments to drive projects and resolve issues (i.e. Human Resources, Accounting, Tax, Legal)
- Assist in analysis and financial modeling and provide analytical support for recommendations on Capital Markets activities including public and private debt issuances, working with bankers and other external parties, and preparation of presentations to the Board
- Research, evaluate and assess financial and risk management strategies, including use of interest rate and FX derivatives
- Perform financial analysis and modeling activities
- Perform other duties as required, which may include capital structure planning analysis, capital markets and corporate funding support, and financial risk management activities
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or other quantitative discipline
- 5+ Years experience in Finance and/or Accounting
- 3+ Years experience in investments and treasury activities, accounting and/or financial planning and analysis

Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA, CFA and/or CPA
- Experience in investment management, analysis, reporting, and portfolio management theory
- Capital market and analysis knowledge and experience
- Excellent analytical and financial modeling experience
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, time management and organization skills, presentation skills and problem resolution skills
- Experience in Corporate Planning or Accounting, especially working with derivatives and fair value accounting
- Must have the ability to demonstrate overall business acumen and understanding of treasury operations
- Experience in a multinational corporation or financial institution
