Our client is a well-established Commercial Bank

Senior Treasury Dealer

Reports to the Department Head
Responsible to manage the branch’s Treasury functions in HK including all types of Money Market, Foreign Exchange and other Treasury Products that the Bank may decide to deal with and market such products to customers
Manage the Branch’s Cash Flow in HKD and other foreign currencies to achieve best investment for the Bank
Determine and publish the Branch’s FX and Interest Rates
Assist Head of Treasury in managing the Banking Book of the Branch ensuring compliance with HKMA regulations on Loan to Deposit Ratio, Liquidity Ratio and handle Placements and Borrowing to achieve best results.
Manage foreign currencies books, following movements in and out transfers, ensuring investments with liquidity and returns.
Enter and conclude FX Trades to cover the exchange position resulting from customer dealings and to manage it profitably under the limits set.
Build and manage group of Treasury Customers for the wholesale banking needs of Treasury products.
Arrange/assist/accompany marketing personnel in visits/meeting with clients in marketing Treasury products and services to them
Manage and guide in preparing daily interest and exchange rates.

Requirement:

Degree holder
At least 5 years of relevant working experience as MM/FX dealer in Banking
Exposure on CNH FX would be an advantage
Extensive experience and knowledge of financial markets and participants within the market;
Good understanding of the legal and regulatory environment of the function and businesses; ability to understand and disseminate economic information;
Strong level of spoken and written English, ability to speak Putonghua would be an advantage;
Self starter, matured and strong inter personal skills;
Ability to communicate effectively, clearly and concisely with management and peers alike.
