Job Description
Role and responsibility: Over time become an integral member of Swiss Re's Funding Team in Zurich, ensuring that Swiss Re has constant insight into and access to the funding markets and matching internal business needs with efficient external and internal funding opportunities.
Specific: The successful candidate will need to establish a dialogue or rely on existing relationships with the key stakeholders driving Swiss Re's share price to gain insight into the relevant trading flows. The successful applicant will develop a structured approach to assessing and communicating internally the drivers of Swiss Re's share price.
This will require the development of an efficient reporting tool for senior management to understand current share price drivers and to identify potential future drivers. The expectation is that over time the successful candidate provides meaningful feedback on share price impact of strategic topics and projects that senior management is considering.
Requirements
- Strong and interdisciplinary multi-year experience gained in equity capital markets, equity research (buy or sell side), specialty sales, investor relations, asset management or with a hedge fund
- Experience in tackling a complex project and delivering results
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English is a must, command of further languages, especially German is advantageous
- Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks and duties assigned when facing a large work load
- Knowledge of rating agency and bank / insurance regulatory framework for insurance/ reinsurance companies
- Highly motivated and reliable team player, used to operating in a very competitive environment and with ability to present and convince on executive and board level
- Solid computer skills
