Director Level IT Architect with immense flair and passion for UI design required to step into a planning and innovative role focusing on influencing, shaping and controlling user interfaces and be an individual contributor in an architecture team.
My client, a Global Leading Investment Bank based in London is offering a unique opportunity to join their organisation in a high level capacity. The team will be responsible for IT planning and IT innovation within Operations, consisting of around 500-600 developers, 300-400 other IT staff and 300 Change staff.
The ideal candidate will come from an Investment Banking, Fund Management or Market Infrastructure environment. Experience of working closely with Senior Management is essential.
Essential
-Expert knowledge of HTML5 and JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks
-Excellent knowledge of Java and Java web application frameworks
-Windows GUI Development
-The ability to have clear focus of the technical delivery needs and also think of the business at the same time.
Knowledge of XML, XSD, XPath, XQuery, MarkLogic, CEP and rules programming, Google Web Toolkit, Scala is also beneficial
