Senior Underwriter (Life & Health) recruitment
The Role:
• To provide Life and Health underwriting and claims technical support and/or audits to internal and external clients
• To effectively respond to regional projects emanating from the business
• To develop, coordinate and undertake underwriting matters
• To support the development and maintenance of the company’s system gaps and recommend solutions for system enhancement
• Train and mentor junior underwriters
• Manage and email junior underwriters to build technical expertise
• Review and interpret medical information and results and update the study to the findings to support and review underwriting guidelines
The Person:
• Possess a tertiary education
• Possess at least 5 years of LH insurance/reinsurance or medical experience
• Life Health Underwriting technical knowledge is a must
• Industry recognized qualifications, such as ALU, LOMA would be highly considered
• Good Team Player with the initiative to lead
