Senior Unix Administrator Lead recruitment
My client, Global Investment Bank is looking for a senior Unix Administrator Lead in managing the regional Unix and Storage infrastructure.
You will be working closely with local regional management across server and disk capacity planning, security compliance, user administration, and systems performance monitoring
Responsibilities of the role:
- Lead a team to manage the regional Unix and Storage infrastructure
- Regional Unix platform capacity operational management across server and disk capacity planning, security compliance, user administration, and performance monitoring
- Provide consultation on new initiatives involving Unix and Network related platforms.
- Work with local and regional management for the Unix and Storage platform
- Manage project timelines, communications, and teamwork effectively
Requirements of the role:
- Strong operations and management of the regional Unix and Storage Administration
- An in-depth knowledge of financial IT Infrastructure and environment.
- Ability to manage vendors, senior management and directors to deliver solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Lead the regional Unix team with diverse cultural backgrounds
- 70% Unix Admin / 30% Database Admin
