This organisation are a global leading law firm who currently have a new 3 month contract opening for a Senior Unix Systems Administrator in London . As an organisation they hold a world-wide first class reputation and invest heavily in their staff. IT is a critical function within this company and so they are able to implement and take advantage of the latest cutting edge technologies.
You will be working in an intimate team responsible for the operation and support of all Unix based systems gobally.
Skills and Qualifications:
In order to perform this role you will have at least two Unix flavours of Unix, preferably Solaris and Redhat.
Required Skills:
*Senior level working with any Unix platform
*Solaris 10 Unix and SUN Hardware expertise
*Unix Administration for SUN Solaris 10 based environments
*Expert level with shell scripting skills
*Very good knowledge of backup and recovery experience in complex environments (NetBackup and/or Commvault)
*Working knowledge of VMware vSphere and vCenter
*Working knowledge of SAN technologies
*A clear understanding of ITIL processes and an understanding of Incident, Problem and Change Management
