Senior Unix Systems Administrator – Hong Kong recruitment
My client is one of the world's largest financial institutions and a global leader in corporate and investment banking. It serves individual consumers, small and middle market businesses and large corporations. They require an experienced Unix Systems Administrator in Hong Kong to become part of a global, functional team responsible for production services support and release management across Equity Lines of Business for Cash Equities, Derivative linked products, FFO and Prime Brokerage/Securities Lending.
You should possess five or more years of experience in UNIX infrastructure and application architecture and be an excellent, user-friendly communicator with a history of working in both critical trading application and infrastructure architecture patterns. Additionally you should demonstrate basic financial reporting skills along with strong working knowledge in at least one of these disciplines:
-UNIX
-Networks
-Databases
-Storage
-Solaris
-SuSE Linux
Strong Solaris and SuSE Linux knowledge is particularly attractive to my client for this role. It will be advantageous if you are knowledgeable of Asia Pacific Markets such as TSE, OSE, HKEx, ASX, SGX, KRX, TWX, NSE. A working knowledge of HP Opsware and HP Insight Manager will be beneficial too as will be experience with Perl and Shell scripting.
