Senior US Treasury Trader
Leading house looking to add a senior US Treasury specialist in London. The candidate will have either:
Ideally 7yrs experience on a US Treasury Trading desk at a bank OR
7yrs specialist US Treasury experience with calls in to the market place ie to other traders.
A key position, the right individual will have strong Fixed Income product knowledge and will have a thorough understanding of the U.S. Treasury market. The candidate will have proven experience and be able to establish and develop excellent dealer relationships across Trading, Sales, Ecommerce and Technology teams.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking for a step up in their career to build upon their existing knowledge in the US Treasury / Interest Rate space and contribute to the development of the business in Europe.
Responsibilities for:
- US Treasuries
- Develop and maintain an active network of key stakeholders, leveraging relationships to improve business insight and product offerings
- Communicate effectively with client groups and key stakeholders
- Improve levels of business passing through desk, improving profitability
- Focus on dealers globally
- Build excellent relationships with dealers and provide relationship / market coverage as required
Skills / Attributes required:
- 7yrs+ US Treasuries industry experience (as outlined above)
- Proven ability to speak with clients globally
- Very good knowledge in the Treasury / Interest Rate space
- Must be results-focused, committed to achieving high standards, effective communicator, team-player
