What you will need:
- 5+ years of web application design experience with a focus on interaction and visual design
- Web product design experience required
- Working knowledge of graphical web design principles, typography, composition, and iconography
- Familiar with designing from style guides
- Design against feedback in an iterative development process
- Demonstrated expertise in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator or Fireworks
- Experience with open-ended design projects that may be ambiguous or ill-defined
What you will be doing:
- Play a key role in defining and developing the user experience for products
- Lead user interviews, contextual inquiry and any opportunity to understand the users of our products
- Work with product managers, engineers and other designers in drafting initial concepts
- Convey design ideas via storyboards, and prototyping tools
- Create deployment-quality mocks and prototypes on tight timelines
- Support development teams through implementation
- Implement the creative vision and overall UX for projects based on design objectives, product requirements and functional specs
