Senior UX/UI Developer – Leading Quantitative Hedge Fund in London UK recruitment
A world class Hedge Fund is looking for a Senior UX/UI Developer to work within the internal teams in the company, developing and designing for Web based solutions. A high level responsibility is required as the successful candidate will be supporting, building and developing the company’s external web content, with a flexible and creative element of building new internal websites as well.
Requirements for Senior UX/UI Developer- LONDON
• Web technologies- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, ASP.NET (C#), XSLT.
• Solid experience with SQL
• JQuery, Silverlight, Flash and web services- desirable
• Ability to design and develop effective web-based user interfaces
• Strong analytical and software engineering skills
• Extensive working knowledge in data visualization.
• Experience in presenting real-time data via web-based front-ends.
• Experience in designing UIs for data visualization and data mining- desirable
• Experience in targeting mobile devices-desirable
Responsibilities for Senior UX/UI Developer- LONDON
• Supporting the administration of the company’s external web content.
• Building new internal websites.
• Troubleshooting issues arising for teams across the firm including trading and production.
• Improve the effectiveness and usability of existing web-based delivery channels
• Developing critical web solutions for the company's risk, compliance and performance monitoring
• Expanding the company's CRM and Intranet solutions including providing new feature requests and new applications as directed.

The ideal candidate will have an extensive background as a Web Developer, ideally with previous experience working for a hedgefund or within the financial sector. Solid technical capabilities in C#, HTML, SQL and JavaScript and strong data visualization and UI skills are highly desirable. A graduate background is essential, preferably in maths, physics or computer science.
