Senior Vendor Manager – The Role

•Seek out, engage, motivate and build new and existing supplier partnerships to grow the business significantly
•Manage existing supplier relationships maximising sales, market share and profit
•Drive supplier relationships to allow 3 – 5 year strategic planning and scalable expansion
•Be a brand ambassador, communicating core principles and values
•Monitoring the competition, spotting new trends, seeking new revenue streams
•Implementation and engagement of projects across the business
•Working with the category team to constantly improve customer experience

Senior Vendor Manager – The Candidate

•Broad commercial awareness developed in a fast-moving environment
•Strong commercial negotiation experience
•Proven track record of building supplier relationships and performance management of those relationships
•Ability to absorb and use data to drive fast accurate decisions for the customer
•Proven ability to influence both internally and externally
•Advanced Excel skills including the ability to use Pivot Tables and Macros
