Senior Vendor Sales Executive
Market leading data provider is seeking a Senior Vendor Sales Executive for the Sydney office to help build client relationships. This is a hands-on relationship management and business development role to promote our client to the financial markets community across the big 5 Aussie banks, global Investment Banks, Fund Managers, Wealth Management businesses and Corporate Treasuries.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies, including sales campaigns to achieve sales revenue targets.
- Lead strategic account planning and provide guidance to sales staff on account management.
- Cultivate and maintain high level relationships within client organizations.
- Ensure self and staff maintain accurate and up to date records to ensure accurate sales forecasts for the team and report these forecasts to senior sales/finance management.
- Ensure coaching and training of sales staff to achieve sales business objectives.
- Coaches and mentors team members to drive improvements in skills, sales approach, and performance
- Ensure that all members of the sales team work efficiently to achieve the highest level of client satisfaction, including the management of the sales cycle by coordinating installations, client training and administration.
- Implement metrics to measure account performance
- Manages own portfolio of accounts and sets example to team demonstrated by results.
Requirements
- A strong understanding of customers, their business models and workflows within the appropriate segment. Ability to identify opportunities and match these with the clients' capabilities.
- Relationship building and networking skills
- Strong Communication, Interpersonal, Selling Negotiating skills
- Ability to develop and execute a sales plan
- Problem Solving- ability to understand articulate, structure and solve client needs.
- Presentation Skills
- Proposal Writing- ability to develop needs assessment and recommend appropriate product/ services to best address client needs
- Successful track record of delivering sales results within the Pacific market place.
- Previous sales management experience preferably in the financial services markets
- Understanding of customer business and focuses on high levels of customer satisfaction.
Must be based in Australia with a valid Visa.
