As Senior Vice President Chief Nursing Officer for Aurora Health Care, imagine yourself... *Being responsible for leading the strategy for integrated services for Aurora, in partnership with the Chief Medical Officer and the Chief Integration Officer. * Providing strategic direction for the following: nursing, Aurora's unified health record system known as Smart Chart (in partnership with the Chief Information Officer and Chief Integration Officer), clinical education, chief nurse executives, and the eICU. *Advancing the professional practice of nursing by ensuring care delivery is based upon industry standards of clinical quality, service quality, clinical education, engagement best practice and research, industry best practice and outcome performance as defined by organizations such as the American Nurses Credentialing Center (Magnet Model), American Nurses Association and National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators. *Facilitating the execution and delivery of strategic goals involving clinical transformation, the enhancement of patient care services, improving clinical quality and safety, developing nursing leadership, serving as a champion for Smart Chart and working with patient service organizations to assure recruitment, retention and succession planning for nursing leadership within Aurora Health Care. *Providing leadership to system nursing shared governance and collaborating with nursing leadership at all Aurora facilities to continually enhance the effectiveness of the nursing governance system. *Serving as the national voice for Nursing and Aurora Health Care, promoting the image of Aurora Health Care with professional nursing organizations, governmental agencies, special interest groups, nursing schools and other groups. *Being responsible for taking an active leadership role in a non-profit or community based organizations by providing community service hours or serving in professional organizations.
