Senior Vice President General Manager of Medical Imaging Solutions Division
BioClinica, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Senior Vice President and General Manager of our Medical Imaging Solutions Division in our Newtown, PA office.
This position will lead strategic planning to achieve business goals by evaluating market trends, setting and prioritizing initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, implementation and management of strategic plans across our Medical Imaging division. As the operational leader of the Medical Imaging Division, this position has complete PL responsibility and the fiduciary responsibility to do what is in the best long term interest of our shareholders. This position is also an integral member of the senior leadership team of the company. This responsibility is fulfilled by the following:
Establishes and accomplishes division objectives by:
- Developing and implementing strategic plan
- Researching opportunities and problems
- Recommending strategies to the CEO
- Inaugurating programs and processes
- Meeting financial objectives
- Evaluating and reporting results
Organizes the division by:
- Selecting and developing key management staff and successors
- Assigning accountabilities
- Setting objectives and establishing priorities
- Integrating corporate efforts
- Monitoring and evaluating results
- Providing resources
- Developing strategic partnerships
Serves clients by:
- Establishing critical service, operations, and productivity criteria
- Maintaining state-of-the-art technology
- Benchmarking leading-edge practices
- Leading commitment to quality service
- Representing company to major clients
Creates understanding and positive image of the company by:
- Building relationships with, and providing information to, the financial community, media, government and the public
- Building credibility with shareholders
- Building employee commitment to quality
Maintains company stability and reputation by:
- Establishing and communicating a corporate value system
- Enforcing ethical business practices
- Complying with, or influencing the development of, laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Required; MBA preferred
- 15+ years general management
- 5+ years experience in an executive management role within a regulated environment, preferably as CFO, COO or equivalent in a publicly traded company
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry strongly preferred; international business and industry specific experience required
- Experience in strategic planning, execution, and policy development
- Prior profit and loss responsibility and experience working with Board of Directors
- Experience with the initiation, execution and implementation of new product or service launches; marketing skills a plus
- Knowledge of business brokering and mergers and acquisitions preferred
