Senior Vice President, Non-Bank Financial Institutions Coverage (Asia) recruitment

Responsibilities:

•Develop and execute a business development (sales) plan for clients and prospects.

•Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of market dynamics, macroeconomic and political circumstances in countries of responsibility.

•Report on and use market intelligence to capitalize on potential opportunities and manage client and country risk.

•Build lasting influential, consultative client relationships with key decision makers at all levels.

•Demonstrate in-depth understanding of counter party and country credit risk. Effectively manage country and counter party limits to achieve targets.

•Ensure appropriate credit limits/documentation (e.g. ISDA, CSA) is in place for target names. Review / recommend credit approval requests to Credit Risk Management.

•Demonstrate in-depth understanding of compliance risk and processes. Ensure that client files are in order.

•Ensure that Know-Your-Customer/Compliance/CRMS records are updated and fully in order.

•Cross-sell to meet revenue targets.

•Support the Head of NBFI Global Relationship Management in shaping, driving and executing the strategy for Asia.

Requirements:

•Senior experienced banker with at least 12 years of banking experience.

•At least 8-10 years coverage experience in the NBFI sector with proven and demonstrated access and contacts within the target client group, such as Treasurers, Heads of Investments, CFO and CEO levels.

•Hybrid coverage banker comfortable with credit, relationship management as well as sophisticated investment banking and capital market products and asset management

•Global Relationship Management experience, product experience within Global/Capital Markets or Structured solutions is desirable.

•Experience of executing complex credit transactions ensuring efficient and prudent use of balance sheet and capital.

•Proven ability to achieve challenging revenue targets

•Relevant securities or regulatory licensing as required

•Ability to converse in Mandarin would be an advantage
