Senior Vice President of Business Process
Principal Accountabilities:
A primary function of this position is split between 1) Process reengineering: driving best practices by aligning business needs and information technology to a simple data structure that will result in operational efficiency and enhanced client deliverables. 2) Execution: ensuring that the production workflow will produce timely, high quality deliverables.
The ideal candidate is comfortable assessing business process drivers that impact system work flow and providing – and implementing - recommendations to maximize quality output. As a liaison between our consultants (sales) and production team, this person must be well versed in data management, data architecture, assessing trade-offs between business needs and IT capabilities, service monitoring, and problem solving.
Specific Capabilities:

- Ability to build and maintain sustainable executive relationships through strong project and engagement leadership; ensures results, exceeds client expectations, and is a trusted advisor and partner.
- Oversees the scope, risks, results, schedule and profitability to deliver successful programs and multi-work stream projects.
- Project Management: lead planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk.
- People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.
- Ability to deliver executive level presentations, driving actions and decisions.
- Ability to evolve our business through insightful thought leadership and best practices.
- Exceptional ability to lead and develop employees through training.
- Keeping abreast state-of-the-art IT/systems developments through attendance at trade and professional meetings and seminars, trade shows, perusal of the literature, and use of supplementary educational activities.
- Skill in developing strategic plans identifying production applications to support business plans or create new strategic options.
- Providing input to staffing and development plans related to product execution to assure that they are consistent with and supportive of the business plans of the firm.
- Directing the design of system processes to meet the needs of the firm.
- Managaing day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Interpersonal skills are required to deal with personnel situations. The need to effectively manage the relationship between the business (sales) and IT with top management calls for a high degree of human relations skills.
- Considerable management and prioritization skills are required to successfully perform the planning, directing, reporting and administrative responsibilities of this position.
- A comprehensive knowledge of best in class systems and technologies for data collection, data processing, data storage and distribution.
- Able to be an “early adopter” of new ideas and approaches: bold and resilient in driving change. Able to respond quickly and creatively to the unexpected, and retain composure in high stressed situations.
- Conceptual thinker, able to see things from different perspectives, think fluidly with ideas, principles and confident in conceptualizing new ways of doing things.
- Socially flexible, able to read people reactions and positions and turn those insights in opportunities to engage and participation.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in managing one or more major business functions (operations, manufacturing, etc.) and/or advanced college training in management.
