We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated, goal oriented, Sr. Network Engineer to design and implement solutions in a dynamic fast-paced environment. The candidate will work in a team environment contributing technical expertise to the evaluation, design, build and delivery of complex solutions. Must be a team player and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills since they will participate in meetings with members of various project teams as well as business clients. The candidate must present themselves in a professional and intuitive manner.

As a member of the Voice Engineering team, the candidate will be responsible for strategic global voice systems planning and design. The candidate will be involved with the Engineering/Planning functions of a traditional voice engineering group, but will interface with the data network engineering team on initiatives that involve the converged voice-data world, and with other IT teams on initiatives that involve unified communications, integration of voice and video, delivering content, etc. The candidate will interface with various business groups and determine if and when the company can exploit new technologies.

• The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

o Research and analyze emerging network technologies and their applicability at AB
o Perform and/or oversee pilot studies, testing and deployments that result from such analysis.
o Interface with business units and other IT groups to understand their requirements
o Determining evolving end-user needs on an ongoing basis and determining solutions that meet those requirements
o Set design and configuration standards including, but not limited to, hardware platforms, software, systems SIP/PSTN access, monitoring and management parameters and procedures, etc.
o Provide third and fourth level support to the operations team
o Mentor junior members of the team

Job Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience including at least three years in a financial firm
• Cisco certification such as CCNP Voice , CCVP or preferably, CCIE Voice

• Have in-depth knowledge of Cisco Voice network deployment models and should understand function, operation and interaction of all components of the voice infrastructure, including (but not limited to) servers, voice-specific network devices, PSTN and analog gateways, gatekeepers, SIP border elements, dial plans, etc.
• Have extensive hands-on implementation and support experience including (but not limited to) build-out and modification of Cisco Unified Communication products like Cisco Unified Communication Manager, Unified Contact Center Express, Cisco Unity Voicemail, Cisco Wireless Phones and Cisco Call Manager Express.
• Have clear understanding on VOIP protocols like SIP, H.323 and MGCP
• Have clear understanding on Telecom infrastructure protocols like ISDN and analog signaling.
• Highly knowledgeable in IP Networking, enterprise voice solutions, VoIP technology, IPSec, TDM Voice, VoIP CPE, Soft Switches, Session Border Controllers, Routers, and Firewalls
• Communication skills that includes the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and management, capable of successful formal and informal communication, and speak and write clearly and understandably.

• Ability to develop (program/script) solutions for and support all components of VoIP Systems, contact center solutions, IP-IVR queue management, peripheral gateways, historical data reporting, voice gateways, and other third party software/hardware integration.
• Ability to program Cisco IOS based voice products to include analog gateways, routers, and session and border controllers
