Senior Water Resources Engineer Job in Vancouver, British Columbia Canada
Position Summary:
We have an immediate opening for a qualified and experienced Senior Water Resources Engineer to work on a range of international projects. The successful candidate will join a dynamic company of motivated and hardworking professionals committed to delivering high quality services. Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years experience in hydrology or surface water engineering
- Demonstrated ability in water resources including hydrology, water balance, water supply feasibility and water reuse
- Experience in flood modelling, risk analyses, hydraulic structures, erosion control works, tailing systems, dams and waterway rehabilitation an advantage
- Degree in hydrology, environmental engineering or civil engineering preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (other languages are an asset)
- Demonstrated report writing skills
- Demonstrated Project Management skills, and ability to supervise, train and mentor junior to intermediate staff
- Willingness to travel, ability to work in team environments or autonomously
