Our client is a burgeoning start-up who has built a solid team of technologist over the last few years. In 2012, they will be releasing a cutting-edge web product that utilises bleeding-edge technologies. Reporting to the Head of Production, the role of Senior Web Architect will be multi-faceted: coding, design, architecture, mentoring, implementing best practices and methodology. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of Web Architecture within high-traffic, large data environments.  
   
    

• Very strong experience as a Web Architect   
• Strong experience with Python or Ruby JavaScript  
• Experience with high-traffic, large data web environments  
• Understanding of cutting-edge tools: ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, Backbone.js, Celery, Selenium, Cassandra, jQuery  
• Strong experience with RDBMS NoSQL databases  
• Strong experience with SOA  
• Agile/SCRUM/TDD  
• Ability to mentor a small team and demonstrate a best practice approach  
• A passion for technology is a must!  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
