Senior Web Developer with Cake PHP, Zend framework, Python and Django and CSS
My online marketplace client, is looking for a Senior Web Developer to join their dynamic, world-class web proposition, working within the development team to deliver it's next-generation website.
This is a senior role, responsible for a number of junior developers. Therefore proven management experience is essential.
The role requires an excellent knowledge of Cake PHP, JavaScript and CSS
Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and build of all front-end components
- Lead and manage the development team of programmers.
- Write object-oriented applications.
- Write advanced code using client side technologies.
- Create templates and applications using PHP or similar technologies.
- Liaise with stakeholders throughout the project phase to produce working designs.
- Keep abreast of new and existing technologies and be able to apply these to a variety of projects as applicable.
- Understand the requirements in building new functionality and identify the most effective solutions.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Zend framework, PHP, Cake PHP
- Python and django
- CSS
- Object Oriented JavaScript including the use of AJAX
- Cross-browser compatibility and accessibility.
