Senior Web Developer recruitment

Participate in the development maintenance of Fitch’s corporate and subscription website applications.  Development work takes place on an Open Source Java-based platform.  Complete design, development, and testing tasks for existing and new internet functionality.  Support applications using a variety of technologies, including JBoss, Spring, JSF, Tiles, and Oracle PL/SQL.

Responsibilities will include developing and maintaining Java web applications (J2EE, JSP, Spring, JSF, Tiles, and Servlets), PL/SQL, and HTML code; performing unit testing; resolving defects; and working as part of a team reporting to a Project Leader.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related
• 5+ years of programming required.
• 2+ years Object Oriented Analysis and Design required.
• 2+ years of server-side Java web application (J2EE, Servlets, JSP, Struts) experience required.
• 2+ years of JBoss App Server experience or related is required.
• Experience with Java MVC web frameworks (Spring, JSF, Struts) required.
• Experience with open source development deployment tools (Eclipse, Subversion, Ant, Maven) is required
• Thorough understanding of SQL and relational databases, experience writing queries, debugging stored procedures, and debugging code.  
• Oracle PL/SQL experience a plus
• Experience with MongoDB a huge plus
• Experience with enterprise search technologies (Endeca preferred) a plus
• Experience with Cold Fusion a plus
• Team Player, good interpersonal skills
• Proven Initiative; self-starter
• Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
• Financial Systems experience preferred
