Senior Web & Marketing Designer Job in Greenville, South Carolina US
Responsibilities:
Develop content and designs for the Progress Lighting website as directed. Update the website weekly with new landing page information and graphics. Develop web analytics to track progress and for reporting to management.
*Implement and design multimedia pieces to support Progress Lighting's product and brand marketing initiatives (including web site design, micro-sites, interactive PDF's, specification sheets, e-mail distributions, videos, CD-ROMs).
*Coordinate product video productions with the department and video production vendors
*Implement Progress Lighting's Social Media Plan to include Facebook, LinkedIn, Blogs, Twitter and others.
*Produce competitive analysis on industry web sites. Look at consumer web trends and implement best practices.
*Mannage a marketing content management system for all marketing and product data required for internal and external customers.
*Work with internal and external web developers to enhance the site for search engine optimization and other traffic enhancing projects.
*Manage assigned projects from inception to execution with minimal supervision.
Skills:
*A background in and thorough understanding of graphics file formats and their application is required. Quark Xpress, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Dreamweaver, Flash, Excel, Power Point.
*Think creatively within established parameters, working well both independently and as part of a team.
*Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small and large group settings
*Requires the ability to analyze situations, identify and troubleshoot problems, recommend solutions, use good judgment in making decisions, and effectively prioritize and organize work. Individual must be assertive and highly organized with an ability to quickly assess situations and make accurate production decisions in short periods of time
Education and Work Experience:
4-year college degree in marketing, graphic arts or web design.
Two or more years experience in marketing or web site development.
