Senior Writer – Communications recruitment

Position:
This position is responsible for writing and developing materials to be used for marketing Dimensional's products to investors. These materials will represent the firm’s investment strategies and investment perspective, as well as present a compelling picture of its value proposition. The information will be used for materials such as white papers, brochures, web content, and sales presentations.
This position is responsible for the maintenance of the Dimensional brand in all publications and communications, including the quality of all print and digital content for clients, prospects, external parties, and also internal communications.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the firm’s sales teams to develop communications plans for their audiences and distribution channels
- Provide leadership in guiding internal teams to achieve the sales and marketing goals of the organization.
- Create and edit investor-focused white papers, brochures, reports, newsletters, and magazine content, highlighting the firm’s commitment to research
- Collaborate with the global Communications group to develop sales presentations and web content for the firm’s public and secure websites
- Develop “talking points” to help the sales team position Dimensional’s products in the marketplace
- Work with senior executives to write executive speeches and presentation content
- Ensure the Dimensional brand is appropriately represented internally and externally, working to continually refine and enhance the communication of that brand
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, resources, and external providers
- Coordinate the production and delivery of marketing materials across various media platforms, authoring creative briefs, production plans, and final signoffs
- Participate in global projects and initiatives as required, ensuring the London Communications team provides support to and receives support from the global team
Person:
- A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree in economics, finance, or journalism will be advantageous
- Ten or more years of industry writing experience preferred
- Fluency in financial economics and investment theory
- Advanced marketing skills
- Exceptional research, writing, relationship, and marketing/communications skills
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of people, including senior executives, portfolio managers, and outside academic
- Ability to work quickly and independently to meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrated commercial acumen
- Previous financial services industry experience will be advantageous
- Management experience will be advantageous
