Senior/Business Analyst for Murex Implementation (Contract) recruitment
Job responsibilities
- Perform a detailed analysis of trade interface requirements for the product scope identified from existing systems to Murex.
- Review and propose the Business Organization setup requirements.
- Analyze and solution the reporting interfaces requirements to cater to valuation reporting requirements.
- Deliver a business plan at the end of the solution process detailing the proposed solution for each of the areas and time required for the execution of the project.
- Analyze business requirements and requests and drive the delivery of the Requirements Specifications.
- Facilitate the communication of user requirements to I.T. developers, business analysts and project managers.
- Ensure and accountable for user acceptance test and report as planned and approve the relevant deliverables i.e. UAT Plan, Test Scripts, etc.
- Analyze the conversion effort required for the go-live date and work with business users and IT to develop a conversion plan and detailed tasks.
- Provide analysis and issue resolution to all cross-functional teams throughout the solution development and implementation lifecycle.
- Assist in and coordinating prioritization of project feature/functionality throughout the solution development lifecycle.
- Maintain a working knowledge of business processes and solution design. Perform gap analysis where known business requirements are not met.
- Build good relationship with respective business users and ensure IT and business alignment is visible.
Requirements
- At least Bachelor graduate in Computer Science/Information Technology or 3 years of equivalent work experience in Murex or similar system.
- Strong product knowledge in Treasury products including FX Cash / Money Market / Equity and FX derivatives. Good understanding of the trade lifecycle from front to back office.
- Experience with Murex MXG2000 or similar trading platform covering front office modules (market data management, pricing, simulation on the above asset classes) and risk management functions is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence to build a rapport with the traders
- Excellent problem solving skills
