Do you always have the answer to “How does that work?” AND “How can I make it better?” Are you a mathematical wizard who dreams in statistics, kinematics, quaternion calculus and linear algebra? Join our Freespace Motion Solutions team to work with the latest MEMS accelerometers, gyroscopes, magnetometers, and combined sensor fusion devices. Devote time to hardware qualification; research of new sensor technology; maximization of sensor performance; and statistical analysis of large data sets. Freespace Motion Solutions use low cost, off the shelf MEMS sensors combined with adaptive signal processing and advanced situational awareness algorithms to create a high performance system. The Sensor Analyst will use an in-depth understanding of individual sensor systems to maximize performance beyond original product specifications. The Analyst will also have the chance to work with the latest MEMS accelerometers, gyroscopes, magnetometers, and combined sensor fusion devices. The ability to adapt quickly to market changes and address engineering challenges in innovative ways is a must.
Responsibilities include hardware qualification, research of new sensor technology, software tool development, and statistical analysis of large data sets. The ideal candidate will have a broad skill set in mathematics and programming and a strong desire to learn.
