To ensure and support a continued strong market growth our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Specialist for the RD department in Nordborg, Denmark. Job description

As a Development Specialist you will play a key role in several stages of the product development from conceptual development, maturing and testing of new technologies to the specification, design and validation testing of new products, and finally handing over design responsibility to Operations.
The key professional challenges are within design and packaging of pressure sensors for use in extremely harsh environments such as large diesel engines and mobile hydraulics. You are expected to play one of the key roles in ensuring that the pressure sensor technology portfolio will be trendsetting in the industry.
You will meet highly skilled and motivated colleagues in a performance oriented, crossfunctional environment. You will get the chance to work with international customers and suppliers in the specification and design phase, and you will work intensively with various development processes and tools, e.g., TS16949 and Lean Development, ensuring that the products are designed for unique quality and performance.

Requirements

 You have a relevant background as an Engineer or Scientist, and you have minimum 5-7 years experience within development and manufacturing of pressure sensors for industrial or automotive markets.
You have a talent for designing new products using a balance of theoretical engineering skills and practical, creative flair. You apply a systematic approach to your work and you thrive in a key role as a specialist. We expect that you have a strong personal drive and enjoy working in cross-functional teams.
You have the mindset and English language skills (orally and written) to operate in an international environment.
