You can expect the challenge of designing and testing complete electronic controls, displays and sensors and engines for equipment that operates under the roughest imaginable conditions.
What You'll Do
- Work with external suppliers to procure components that meet the product specification.
- Manage the project according to the product delivery process.
- Lead and participate in design reviews, subsystem reviews.
- Work directly with Supply Management, Quality, and Product Verification Validation (PVV).
- Support component field test activities.
- Act as subject matter expert / application expert on responsible components / technologies.
- Communicate technical information to various Deere units worldwide.
What It Takes
- 2 years experience working with external suppliers to procure components that meet the product/systems specification.
- Experience implementing sensing technologies (i.e. hall effect, optic, capacitive, etc) for mobile/off-road applications.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including written oral communication.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Working knowledge of microprocessors, analog, and digital circuits.
