An opportunity has arisen with a Global Asset Manager. The role will be to safeguard the fund management process by controlling and effectively mitigating portfolio risk.
The successful candidate will join the team working on a newly established pre and post trade guideline monitoring function.
Establishing procedures and protocols for pre and post trade compliance oversight, initially for Fixed Income via the Sentinel compliance system.
Interpretation of investment restrictions for Funds (Regulatory, Prospectus and Internal restrictions) and Segregated mandates, covering Fixed Income, Equity, Currency, Multi Asset, Real Estate, Private Equity and Alternative portfolios.
Work closely with the team in the implementation of guideline management control system enhancements and the integration of new systems.
Work closely with other guideline management teams in HK, NY and Columbus to establish the best working practises within the industry for guideline management.
Requirements - Essential Skills
Essential candidates have strong working knowledge of compliance systems such as Sentinel, Think Folio or Charles River a must.
Experience in a similar guideline management control function
Strong Product knowledge covering all the major asset classes
Ability to deal with people at all levels within the organisation
Strong decision making skills
Strong attention to detail
Working Knowledge of the regulatory framework for European funds (UCITS) Excellent relationship management and communication skills
