OMD is a global media buying and planning company with over 8,000 employees in more than 97 markets across every region in the world.  Currently we have a position open as SEM/SEO Manager in our Toronto office. This roles reports into the Managing Director, Digital and Emerging Media

 

An experienced leader, passionate about Search who will strategically analyze, measure, position, manage and promote SEM across our client base in the Canadian market. As the key contact with senior client representatives on the business the SEM Manager is responsible for maintaining the client relationship and internal relationships with senior on-line media planners.

 

He/she is also responsible for the administration of their group (team of 5) with respect to leading and conducting recruiting, performance evaluations, salary reviews, career development and staff planning and workflow management.

Skills Required

8 years SEM/SEO marketing experience; currently in a management/leadership role.

  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills

  • Solid work ethic, self-sustained.
  • Demonstrated excellence with agency and client relations. 
  • Thorough knowledge of off/online advertising planning, tracking and reporting.
  • Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position Search in the media mix – with clients and agencies.
  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding and highly innovative solutions. 
  • Entrepreneurial and thrives in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
  • Motivated and creative with the ability to self-manage. 
  • Project management skills and the ability to multitask across projects and products. 
  • Team player able to work on multi-part projects with multiple teams and able to ensure that project deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Strong computer application skills including PowerPoint, Excel and MS Office
  •  Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills
