Seoul – Senior Associate, Finance recruitment
The Financial Management Group (FMG) provides financial, tax and treasury services to all areas of Macquarie.
We are currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Finance team in Seoul working with Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets in Korea.
Roles and responsibilities will include:-
Financial Accounting
- Coordinate with the external administrators in relation to the preparation of financial statements of funds and SPVs.
- Prepare monthly reconciliation of financial statements of funds and SPVs.
- Review and recalculate of journal entries prepared by the external administrators.
- Understand KIFRS and Australian IFRS.
Taxation
- Coordinate with the external service providers in relation to Tax returns and supporting information (WHT, and VAT).
Others
- Prepare regulatory returns and investors' report to FSS, BOK and Investors.
- Consideration of accounting, tax, regulatory issues for new funds and proposed investments.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports requested by fund investors.
Key personal skills include:
- 3-4 years auditing experience gained from big 4 accounting firms (CPA holder).
- Due diligence, financial advisory or tax experience in accounting firms is preferred.
- Strong Korean and English communication skills.
- Accounting/Local Regulation knowledge.
- Strong PC skills in Excel.
