SEPA Business Consultant Job in Dublin Ireland
The Role:
My Client is moving multiple payment systems and multiple customer channels to a single group-wide payments infrastructure.This will also provide a new Cash Management Online Channel to replace all existing customer electronic payment services for business and corporate customers.
Responsibilities:
- To provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership/Industry best practice guidance on key payments developments such as SEPA, PSD, EBA STEP 2 obligations.
- To proactively assess the impact of future legislation and regulation and external market requirements to input into the Group Payments decision-making and business strategy in order to maintain compliance, limit risks to the business whilst remaining competitive.
- To ensure Group Payments SEPA business requirements and solution designs meet stakeholder and customer needs from service, fulfilment, regulatory and compliance perspectives.
- To provide SEPA expertise, consultancy / support and advice to both internal customers/stakeholders and external customers.
- To provide input, guidance and participate in developing SEPA customer migration strategies, product/service offerings and communications plans.
- To support and develop business communications and engagement with stakeholders / project members with relevant information.
- To work effectively with Group Change Management, Group IT and wider third party BEC Programme teams to ensure requirements and implemented solutions meet business and Customer needs.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years international payments business or systems expertise.
- Comprehensive understanding and interpretation of EU Regulation and legislative developments under PSD, SEPA Schemes etc with an ability to identify and implement solutions to meet emerging regulatory and legislative requirements
- Experience of engaging with Industry bodies and schemes – EBA, STEP 2 etc.
- Ability to understand Group Payments services to build a clear understanding of business requirements detailed design processes.
