SEPA Migration Manager
AGS on behalf of RBS represents contract and temporary opportunities for RBS MIB (Markets and International Banking). We have an outstanding contract opportunity for a SEPA Migrations Manager to make their mark with one of the world's largest international banking and financial services companies. In the role of a SEPA Migrations Manager, you will play an integral role in helping our client deliver market leading services that set it apart from its competitors. The SEPA Implementation Manager is primarily responsible for end-to-end execution of SEPA migrations/ implementations across a specific country or region. This role is within a team of approximately 6 FTE's, with a portfolio of customer projects, each covering the entire span of milestones and activities from "Advising Sales", through full implementation, up to and including the hand-over to Client Services. He / she is directly accountable for quality and competitiveness of assigned SEPA migrations/ implementations across the assigned geography and/or client base. Focus (beyond the actual migration/implementation) is to improve the efficiency and quality of the processes and delivery to clients, reducing the time from sales mandate ("Intake") to project completion. A primary goal will remain improving the client experience while reducing time to booked revenue and controlling costs (enhancing Economic Profit).
Key performance areas/responsibilities (KPA's)
- Manages a portfolio of client projects within Transaction Services (TS) to the full satisfaction of the clients and the bank;
- Primarily implements major deals where size of deals or other criteria require senior expertise;
- Develops activity and resource plans to meet product/service implementation goals, and deploys and directs resources to meet those plans;
- Consults with Product, Channel, Operations, Credit, and Client Service organisation to ensure capability, resources and developments are properly aligned for both Client Projects and Internal Improvement Projects requiring Implementation expertise and support;
- Develops agreed Plans of Approach, project plans, complexity forecasts and cost projections, completing reporting as required; communicates impact on business and resources in order to help team leader balance the portfolio;
- Executes best practice and Global Implementation governance and ensures these are fully embedded with appropriate stakeholders;
- Maintains the project communication processes so that all relevant parties are updated and informed in a timely manner;
- Assures completion of client reviews or surveys, and lessons learned (post mortems);
- Stays up to date on latest compliance and KYC issues, checking various sources regularly for updates as well as taking required training in a timely basis;

- Market oriented: maintain comprehensive awareness of market and technological developments and ability to use this knowledge effectively;
- Awareness of RBS's Vision, Mission, Strategy and Direction, including GTS objectives and governance;
- Product knowledge of payments, collections, electronic banking, liquidity (treasury), including legal, tax, and credit aspect.
