Separately Managed Accounts Business/Project Analyst recruitment
BlackRock's retail SMA group manages
over $50 billion in assets across fixed income, equity, and
balanced investment strategies in the context of separately managed
client accounts. The business management team supports the
overall management of the department, including such tasks as
supervising the investment process, improving business processes,
developing and implementing a strategic plan, evolving the SMA
platform, and liaising with numerous internal partners and external
SMA platforms.
The SMA management team is seeking a
Business Analyst to assist with implementation, analysis, business
development/strategy, and management reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Information management and
analysis - Compile and synthesize relevant management data
related to AUM, revenue, performance, compliance, and risk
management. Participate in initiatives to improve data quality,
consistency, and presentation. - Project management -
Coordinate and manage initiatives with internal partners to
implement best practices across the platform. Ensure timely
delivery of results for both ad-hoc and strategic
projects. - Presentations and
reporting - Prepare and deliver high quality Excel and
PowerPoint presentations for senior level consumption to
communicate status and important updates on strategic
projects. - Day to day management
support - Work closely with management on a regular basis in
support of on-going business demands and
challenges.
Skills
Qualifications:
- 1 - 2+ years of financial services
experience. - Advanced skills in Excel and
PowerPoint. - Strong financial and quantitative
abilities, including attention to detail and affinity for data
analysis. - Strong organizational, planning,
and time-management skills including ability to function
effectively within an unstructured, fast-paced atmosphere and
ability to multitask. - Solid communications skills and
ability to work in a team environment. - Sound judgment, professionalism,
and discretion.
