Come join our team! OMNISEC International Security Services, Inc., a subsidiary of OMNIPLEX, is seeking qualified applicants to fill immediate openings for Sergeant in the Las Cruces, NM area. Job Responsibilities:
POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR EMPLOYEE REFERRAL BONUS CATEGORY 2
Job Duties:
The duties include, but are not limited to, security patrols, access control, security related personnel escort duties, traffic, parking control, law and order duties, as well as security and fire safety surveillance. Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen;
- Must be at least 21 years of age;
- Must have a H.S. Diploma/GED;
- Must have a valid state driver's license and satisfactory driving record as determined by the company;
- Must have minimum 1 year of law enforcement and/or military experience OR 1 year armed security experience and successful completion of a law enforcement academy curriculum OR 1 year armed security experience and minimum 2 year degree in Criminal Justice field;
- Must be Security Control certified.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Must be able to read, speak and understand English language fluently;
- Must have intermediate written English skills, including ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms.
- Must have a current Top Secret clearance.
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to pass all required armed training;
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical;
- Must be able to pass a criminal check, credit, and driving record checks;
- Must be able to pass a security screening;
- Must be able to pass US Government background investigation for required security clearance.
