responsible for managing existing client accounts, fostering the relationship between Scientia and the client as well as handle any projects, accounts, or issues that might be relative to that client. The Account Manager will liaise frequently with the main contacts at the clients to assure them of their importance and to build the customers respect, and to provide a high level of service delivery and trust in that business.
The account manager knows how their client’s money is spent, and what service they are receiving. As a manager with a number of client accounts in the Benelux, s/he must be able to manage them effectively and prioritise the various customer tasks. If there are any concerns or developments that may affect the timeline, quality or duration of the project the manager has the responsibility to inform the customer.
The work varies greatly and includes:
· Managing a portfolio of accounts
· Achieving sales targets
· Providing a high service
· Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients
· Dealing with all aspects of marketing campaigns
· Using an existing network of contacts to generate new business
· Organising seminars and user meetings
· Delivering sales presentations
· Attending client meetings
· Completing administrative work, as required.
Requirements:
· Proven (Service) Account Management skills
· Minimum of 2 years of Account Management experience
· Knowledge of the educational and/ or facility management market, experience of complex “enterprise” applications preferred
· ICT competence (understand software, hardware, networks, etc)
· Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction
· Excellent written and oral communication skills in Dutch and English at native level
· Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well
