Outsourcing Services is an international service line within Global Logica that focuses on the growth of the outsourcing business, with its own profit and loss responsibility and business units in different countries.

 

The main purpose of this job is to hold responsibility for the overall service, functional, technical shape of the BPO HR Solutions developed during the bid process for a defined opportunity. The Service Architect maps the service, functional and technical requirements of the customer with BPO HR/payroll standard solution components and processes from the BPO HR service catalog. The Service Architect will gather all necessary information from the customer, delivery specialists/HR consultants and portfolio specialists within the BPO Service Line, and within other Outsourcing Services disciplines (Application Management and Infrastructure Management). The Service Architect is a member of the bid team working under the principles of the Logica Bid Smart process and timelines defined within that process and for the specific opportunity.

Main characteristics
Work in multi-functional bid teams, understand BPO HR from a service, technology and financial perspective.
Work with and within global BPO organization and Product Management organization.
Work with BPO Service Line functions to further develop the HR BPO market proposition.
Work with OS Sales Marketing to define go-to-market plans.
HR business environments, HR service processes, HR payroll platform and HR service platforms, HR service catalog, AM/IM service lines and processes.

Key contacts
internal: bid teams as defined bid smart, portfolio function within Service Line, Service Center, Contract Delivery.
external: customer facing and external suppliers of solution components.

Participate in the bid team to define the service/functional/technical solution for a defined business opportunity based on maximum standard solution components and multi-client processes.
Work in full conformance with bid process, bid plan, bid budget and bid timelines taking into account all quality standards for bid deliverables of the Solution Architect role.
Build knowledge concerning HR business processes and supporting platform components as well as product financial plans and factory gate pricing methodology.
Use dedicated tools such as the Logica princing tool and the ROI calculator to control the financial impact of the defined solution.

Key dimensions
Number of countries: basically NL, occasionally multi-country.
Number of HR/payroll platforms: Oracle Peoplesoft (SAP).

 

Build good project management skills in order to participate or lead solution definition workshops.
Communicate clearly, build knowledge, network, share information, take decisions, etc. with internal and external parties, other OS/Service Line colleagues, expert users and other business responsible, to get the best results for both the customer and Logica.

Requirements
• university degree or minimally higher level education.
• understanding of payroll and HR services markets .
• 3-5 years experience with at least HR/payroll services and platforms (Oralce PS, SAP including the technical interfaces
• 3+ years experience with HR/payroll projects and solution architect/service architect role.
• 3+ years experience with Outsourcing Services and Business Process Outsourcing.
• experience with full service concept including factory gate pricing.
• experience with bid teams, bid processes.
• understanding of risk elements in outsourcing environments.
