Summary of position:

Responsible for increasing revenue and margins by achieving sales targets as identified on the Opportunity Matrix. Work with value-minded customers and potential customers to present creative service and repair solutions and profitably grow the Aftermarket business which includes parts, repair and private label oil. Ensure organizational effectiveness by way of continuous improvements utilizing Tuthill Business Systems (TBS) tools and processes in support of Policy Deployment and Strategic Intent. Service and repair performance will reinforce brand awareness and support Tuthill Values, Mission, Vision and Brand.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspire, enroll and engage employees in the disciplined and rigorous use of continuous improvement through the application of TBS tools

Achieve revenue growth aligned with strategic intent for Service Center with a growth goal of 20% year over year and annual RGM target utilizing the Tuthill Sales Process.

Evaluate and report on future sales probabilities, market trends, pricing, competition and new opportunities.

Assist in developing budget and control expenditures to meet or exceed RGM target.

Prepare value-based quotations (meeting or exceeding RGM), detailing costs and benefits of repair or warranty services.

Negotiate and determine disposition of customer requests for policy adjustment, payment or special warranty allowances.

Communicate product/policy problems and/or potential liabilities.

Provide field support to the direct TVBS sales team, representatives and distributors.

Create and deliver predictive and preventative maintenance training programs for end users.

Maintain customer files and office records of all local service and repair activities.

Provide real-time, customer feedback information to the Sales Manager-Aftermarket to be used in the Lake Room.

Support internal and external customers in addressing warranty and repair issues.

Qualifications:

Experience/Skill Requirements:

7+ years experience in service experience with highly engineered products.

5+ years’ relevant experience in a management role.

Knowledge of NIOSH, physics and/or math helpful.

Familiarity in lean manufacturing concepts preferred.

Comprehensive expertise in vacuum pumps, blowers and integrated systems.

Experience in technical problem solving and troubleshooting via email, telephone or in-person.

Demonstrated ability to lead a team to successful performance and results.

Ability to manage multiple programs/projects.

Advanced communication and time management skills.

Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

Advanced expertise in creation, comprehension and analysis of technical drawings.

Multilingual fluency – Spanish preferred.

SAP preferred.

Education/Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or other relevant field.

Physical Demands:

Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 pounds of force frequently.

Work environment includes both office and manufacturing floor settings - temperatures will vary.

Ability to communicate information effectively through oral and written presentation. Can convey detailed or important spoken instructions to others accurately, loudly and quickly.

Ability to receive detailed information through oral communications and to make the discriminations in sound.

Close visual acuity to use a computer

Visual acuity to travel via commercial aircraft or operate a motor vehicle.

Repetitive motions of the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

Travel – up to 50%

Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
