I. Service Center Specialist Purpose:
Responsibilities include providing product information and processing orders, sizing customers, tracking shipments, answering inquiries about delivery of orders or returns and helping with internet questions.
II. Essential Functions (Areas of Responsibility/Accountability):
- Operating point of sale terminals for customer sales
- Open/Close service center as needed.
- Reconcile daily cash transactions as needed.
- Manage uniform contract on site.
- Work closely with Customers to place orders, identify specialty item numbers, track shipments, authorize/facilitate returns, input purchase orders, facilitate billing questions and promote web-based system for transactions.
- Answer customer’s questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise.
- Maintain active involvement with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Recommend alternative products or services in an effort to exceed customer expectations.
- Provide assistance with internet orders.
- Provide marketing materials and product information to the customer.
- Receive inventory and assist with the management of inventory.
- Stocks shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise.
- Sets up advertising displays or arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales.
- Stamps, marks, or tags price on merchandise.
- Keeps the service center clean and orderly
· Other duties as assigned to meet business needs
III. Qualifications (Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Systems or Applications):
- General knowledge of in stock uniform product categories
- Excellent math, verbal and written communication skills
· Strong administrative skills
· Strong, customer service and public interaction skills
· Strong computer literacy
· HS Degree or Equivalent
· 1 – 3 years Customer Service or Sales
