Service Control Manager, SOX, Audits
This role sits in IT and reports to the IT Director with the main remit of facilitating between IT and internal/external auditors. You will also have the opportunity to maintain BS 27001 Security Standards ISO9001 quality standards. Ideally you should come from an Audit background or experience working in a coordination role between IT and Auditors with strong SOX experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for facilitating all internal external SOX, ISO 9001 BS27100 audits.
- Effectively communicate Audit requirements throughout departments, management, internal and external auditors.
- Maintain improve Service Control standards, processes and procedures.
- Manage a continuous review programme.
- Maintain and improve IT staff awareness of ITIL concepts, ISO processes and best practice.
- Take proactive measures to avoid and IT audit issues.
Key Skills Required Essential
- Must have an Audit and SOX background with vast knowledge in both spaces
- Knowledge experience of audit processes including SOX working with external auditors.
- Can articulate ideas into action.
- Can demonstrate experience in a service control, quality assurance, audit environment.
- Self motivated, self-starter who can work in a complex environment.
- Good trouble shooting skills, with the ability to turn issues into opportunities and implement practical solutions.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge and experience of implementing/adhering to ISO 9001:2008 ITIL standards.
- ISO 20000 standard awareness with willingness to train.
- Project Management experience.
