Service & Cost Analyst recruitment

Business Services is the backbone of the Group, providing a diverse range of high quality services to the customer-facing operations within the Group. Business services includes; Technology Services, Group Operations, Group Property, Security and Risk (Corporate Security Services), Business Services Risk, Business Services Finance, Business Services Human Resources, Strategy and Architecture, and Procurement.

Strategy and Architecture help the Bank make better, more informed decisions regarding what, where, why, how we operate and who with.  We do this through the provision of Strategy, Portfolio Management, Service Management and Architecture Services across the Group. 

As Service Cost Analyst, you'll support identification of commercial data sources and standards to support the development of commercial recommendations across a range of projects.  You'll work with complex service and cost models in both excel and specialist software, to enable business understanding and decision-making, as well as performing deep dive analysis, designing and delivering presentations of analysis work to key stakeholders to support better informed decision making.  You'll also support in identifying and developing key financial ratios and service-based cost decomposition views at multiple levels.  

To be successful as Service Cost Analyst, you will have demonstrable experience in Activity-Based Costing and Service-Based Costing Methodologies, tools, and techniques.  You'll have experience in service benchmarking and delivery (eg SLA's KPI's) as well as proven experience with generating customer-focused recommendations from qualitative and quantitative insight.  An understanding of Business to Customer/Business to Business Financial Services products and services preferred, but not essential as is an understanding of Lean methodology.
