Our client is an award winning converged voice and data company supplying unified communications products, services and solutions directly into corporate companies, SME's and the public sector.

Due to continued success and business expansion, there is now the need for a Service Delivery Manager to join the team to assist in the day to day running of key accounts. This is a pivotal position within the company and will entail being the main point of contact for all service delivery issues for key customers.

You will need to be very technical as well as being commercially strong. You might originally have come from an engineering background and will be confident dealing with demanding customers at a senior level and have a good technical understanding of WAN, data, Cisco, routers, MPLS, WiFi, virtualization and related technologies.

This is a mixed and challenging role and will utilise a range of skills e.g. project management, service delivery and account management, and would suit a good 'all rounder'.

You will have experience of dealing with 3rd party suppliers and with internal support and operational teams to get issues resolved.

It is essential that the successful candidate has a proven track record in corporate / technical account management within the Telecoms / IT industry across complex data and voice multi-site accounts. ITIL and Prince 2 qualifications are advantageous, but not essential.

The role is predominantly office based in Basildon at Company HQ with travel to customer sites one or two days per week (UK). A full driving license is essential.

The successful candidate will be well presented, customer facing, a self starter, self motivated, proactive, bright, a quick learner, have attention to detail and have exceptional communications skills
