Service Delivery Manager Job

Position Summary:

The Service Delivery Manager is the main interface between operational IT services and the customer, and is responsible for ensuring the ongoing delivery of operational IT services, the quality of those services, and their alignment with business requirements and customer focus. The role will be accountable for providing a framework that will structure IT services delivery and the interactions of technical personnel with business customers, and ensures service delivery supports the required business needs. Additionally, the role is responsible for system and user testing IT solutions. The position is part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for ensuring delivery of strategic, operational and customer focused information technology services, aimed at enabling business growth.

About the role:

A rare opportunity has become available for a Service Delivery Manager with Supply Chain and or Logistics experience to join our client’s management team.

With your expertise, you will oversee the planning, direction, and timely execution of the business unit service delivery program. You will seek creative service delivery solutions and serve as a change agent for the organisation.

As a forward thinker, you will develop long-term plans on the continuous improvement of service delivery methodology by meeting with internal Project Managers and external clients and assess their business goals in the delivery of products/services.

As a strong business strategist, you will comfortably utilise knowledge of client's business to solve business problems using innovations that promote the highest levels of availability, reliability, and cost effective project delivery.

Having extensive background in service level agreements, you will comfortably oversee the establishment and achievement of SLAs and ensure the effective management and deployment of project controls and risk mitigation strategies enterprise-wide to improve service delivery to client base. In addition, you will apply your skills to ensure effective transfer of business unit service delivery process assets to all programs/projects to facilitate gains in client satisfaction and market competitiveness.
