Service Delivery Manager/IT Project Manager, eCommerce Job in Flagstaff 86001, Arizona Us
Manages all aspects of eCommerce Information Technology projects throughout their project lifecycle. Coordinates the support and operations of eCommerce systems and develops a productive and lasting relationship with customers. Provides project leadership to cross-functional teams comprised of Programmers, Requirement Analyst, System Administrators, and External Contractors and serves as liaison between the eCommerce IT team and business community. Assists with the development of Deckers' Project Management processes and best practices and works with the business and requirement analysts to develop functional and technical requirements and system specifications. Assists with the development and documentation of global, regional, and local business processes.
o Collaborates with the business constituents to identify and prioritize the delivery of new business capabilities and optimizing existing capabilities.
o Gathers requirements and develops systems designs resulting in the delivery of new systems (people/process/technology) capabilities.
o Leads teams in the delivery of new systems and systems capabilities.
o Briefs project stakeholders on a weekly basis on project status, milestones, risks, decision points, etc.
o Ensures that the successful operations of eCommerce site by coordinating support and incident response.
o Assists users in developing user testing documentation and training material.
o Develops and maintains working knowledge of industry trends and business best practices.
o Degree in Information Technology, Business or similar field of study, or equivalent experience.
o At least 5 years of team/project leadership responsibilities in an e-commerce or development environment, developing project plans and managing solution delivery from implementation through completion.
o Must possess a broad but thorough knowledge of IT systems as well as comprehensive knowledge of relevant business processes and their interdependencies.
o Must have a proven ability to lead project teams with a very strong understanding of what it takes to develop a successful ecommerce and web applications.
o Strong project management skills in complex production environments.
