We are currently expanding in the Chicagoland area, and are looking for an experienced Service Department Manager with strong leadership and customer service to join our successful, highly motivated team.
Responsibilities for this position include:
· Manage a small team of service technicians.
· Coordinate daily service and maintenance routes.
· Order and quote parts for service.
· Answer customer service phones.
· Resolve customer issues.
· Offer and sell annual maintenance contracts.
Education, Skills Qualifications required:
· High School graduate. Some college course-work preferred.
· Previous management experience.
· Prior experience in scheduling, dispatch and customer service.
· Background in the elevator, construction, mechanical, or electrical fields desired.
· Demonstrated problem solving and implementation of process improvements.
· Effective time management and organization skills.
· Sound business judgment under pressure.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Proficiency working with computers, service software and Microsoft Office® products.
· Genuine interest in helping customers in a professional and friendly manner.
· Ability to foster relationships and work in team environment
· Flexibility to work overtime, as required
