Service Desk Support Officer

A service desk support officer is required to immediately join a leading financial services organisation in Edinburgh.

In this role you will be assisting the service desk and service desk administrator logging all IT issues reported, dealing with software and hardware troubleshooting as well as PC, Printer and telephony support. Perform remote and local support for printers, scanners and fax machines.

Ensuring an adequate supply of consumables are maintained and supplied to the business. Responsible for telephony and mobile administration and configuration, including mobiles phones, desktop handsets and some Blackberry device maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, good communication and team working skills and keen interest in IT related matters. Knowledge of telephony and mobile configuration is desired.

The role is on a contract basis offering a rate of £8.90-£10.70 per hour. Successful candidates will be subject to credit referencing as part on the screening process.
