Position Overview:
Providing global support to New Product Development, Continuing and Sustaining engineering across functional teams, you will create service documentation and training materials for Welch Allyn's connected medical devices and systems. You will also work with Technical Support in an Escalation Support role.
Key Responsibilities:
You will work with new product development and continuing and sustaining engineering teams to ensure that product service capabilities are in place to support current and new products. Using your expertise in networks, system design and integration, you will establish sound processes for repeatability in installation, validation and service support. You will create and document processes essential for service procedures, installations, validation, support, administration, and repair.
Working with R D, Document Control, Tech Pubs, Testing, and Field Engineers, you will be instrumental in creating, developing, implementing and providing training to a global service organization.
Required Background:
You have an Associate's degree in Engineering, IT, CIS or Computer Science and at least 3 years of technical support experience in a regulated industry. You have excellent technical writing skills. Your biomedical and field service experience is a plus, as is your knowledge of FDA guidelines. Your certification in one or more of the following will be beneficial for your success: Operating Systems (MCSE, A+), Networking (N+, CCNA), Wireless (CWNA, ACMA).
