Due to rapid and continued growth, Liebherr-Australia Mining Division is looking to appoint to the senior position of Service Exchange Unit Manager, to be based at our Para Hills West Head Office. The Service Exchange Unit re-manufactures a vast range of components for Liebherr machinery to the original manufactured standards.
Reporting to the Mining Manager SA NT, this newly created position’s primary responsibilities will include: - Forecasting, planning and prioritising workshop requirements to maximise workflow
- Ensuring all resources associated with department (people, equipment, parts, tooling etc.) are used efficiently
- Ensuring the quality of remanufactured components to factory specifications
- Overseeing expenditure to maximise department profitability
- Coaching and mentoring a team to fulfil potential
- Championing safety initiatives across department and proactively seeking safety improvements
To be successful in this role you will be a natural leader with operations management experience who is able to achieve objectives by demonstrating sound planning and influencing skills and the ability to develop a strong team culture.
