Service Manager – Rocklea
An excellent opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Service Manager to join the Commercial Business Unit of our Tyre Division in our largest store in Queensland located at Rocklea.
This varied and interesting role will require you to manage our fleet of roadside Service Fitters based out of this extremely busy store.
You will:
- Develop, implement and manage the Service Fitter schedules
- Manage all aspects of our ‘emergency tyre assistance’ support through the efficient management of the Service Fitters and effective communication with other store based personnel
- Conduct daily fleet checks and identify potential areas for improvement
- Be responsible for consignment stock in all customer yards
- Conduct risk assessments in all customer yards
- Be responsible for training and mentoring all Service Fitters
- Be responsible for ensuring that all paperwork expected from the service fitting team is completed accurately and in a timely fashion
- Input data and manage the local GPS system to ensure its accuracy
- Work closely with all other store based personnel, assisting where required to ensure the smooth running of our fleet of roadside Service Fitters
It is essential that you have proven experience in truck tyre fitting, excellent communication skills and the ability to work with people at all levels. You have the capacity to analyse and interpret data to make recommendations to management for potential improvements in your area of expertise.
